Usually, the advertising was made by the various European importers of these cars in Great Britain, France, Germany and other countries. Nonostante l'assenza di una vera e propria forma di pubblicità nei Paesi del Patto di Varsavia (perlomeno come la intendiamo noi), anche le auto dell'Est venivano reclamizzate come le loro più famose "colleghe" occidentali! Di solito, erano i vari importatori europei (Francia, Inghilterra, Germania ed altri Paesi) a pubblicizzare queste sconosciute vetture sulle varie riviste di settore. In questa pagina, abbiamo qualche esempio riguardante le Skoda, Moskvitch, Tatra, ZIL, Volga, Zastava, UAZ, Trabant e Wartburg.
