Probably, you think that the author of this huge site is an "expert" who knows any details about the cars and the motorcycles. No, i'm not an "expert", i prefer to be, at least, an enough intelligent person! My name is Michele, i'm born in the 1975, and i live in Italy, in the city of Bari (not far from the Albanian coast). Although my country is the nation of very advanced and expensive cars (Ferrari, Maserati...), i was curious about the Russian cars since i was 13-years old...i love all the unknown and the unusual things. When i taken the driving license, my intention was to buy a VW Beetle, or a Mini...but the Beetle has a threatening consumption (too expensive for my money!), and the Mini it's simply...too little for me (my height is 1,83 m...not very good for a Mini)!

Therefore, my first car was an Opel Kadett 1.6 D of the 1982 (like the scale model in the first pic, above...i used the Coca Cola gadget to keep stiff the model on the scanner!). It was a very rude car (no five-speed gearbox, no power windows, no central locking, only a tachometer....), but very reliable, absolutely cheap and resistant, although not very beautiful! Only an accident has stopped this car, in the 1999 (and the car was given to me in the 1993!). Now, i own a Suzuki Swift. This car has a good look, but...an used Opel is better than a new Suzuki (i changed the clutch at 15.000 km, and several other problems, very incredible on a new car). Probably, it's because the Swift is assembled in Hungary...eastern and unreliable...perfect for AUTOSOVIET! 

I hate the luxury-car, if the driver is an arrogant person with a bad and dangerous drive on the road (especially if these idiots drives at 200 km/, placing the front of their BMW -or Mercedes- behind the bottom of my little car...)

...and i love -as shown in the "masterpiece" above...- all the "B-cars" of the world...especially all the models of the '70s, small or big cars, often despised by the collectors! I think that all the cars have an own history, as symbol of a period. Especially the "first cars" of our life, usually outdated and ugly models, have an history in common with the owner...and, often, these cars are unforgettable (in the luck and in the misfortune)!  

But i love especially the motorcycles...mainly Guzzi, but i love also Japanese, German, American, Russian, Czech and even Indian motorycles (i love all the world on two wheels)! I hope that you will enter in the "spirit" of this site, very complete but also enough entertaining (as possible!) and without boring purposes of analysis. I spent many time to put my passion on this work, and i hope you will share this "strange" passion for the Eastern vehicles. Enjoy it!
